Programme description

The Coding Fundamentals Programme (CF) is part of LCCL Coding Academy's holistic curriculum of empowering our young for the digital future. The CF curriculum is designed to instil creative skillset, mindset and values, through the teaching of code and Computational Thinking activities. This programme aims to produce confident, creative, curious and collaborative learners who are aware of the ubiquity of technology and the creative power of code.

Knowledge & Skillset

In Coding Fundamentals, students build a strong foundation by mastering the very fundamentals of coding. We dive deep into each concept, ensuring that every student truly understands the material before moving forward. As they progress, students learn to plan and execute their own ideas, developing both technical and project management skills.

Students who complete this multi-year curriculum and showcase competency in the learning objectives progress to the Teen Coders Programme.
